Opening Launch: Rue des Rosiers, by Rhea Tregebov
Tonight! Come join us in celebration of the release of Rue des Rosiers, by Rhea Tregebov. This is Tregebov's second novel after her award-winning The Knife Sharpener's Bell. Rue des Rosiers is the story of a young Jewish woman's search for her own identity in Paris in 1982—a journey that brings her face-to-face with an age-old enemy. Event will include a reading, Q & A, and book signing.

Author bio: Rhea Tregebov's first novel, The Knife Sharpener's Bell, published by Coteau Books, won the J.I. Segal Award of English Fiction and Poetry, and was listed in the Globe and Mail's top 100 books for the year. An award-winning poet and celebrated author of children's picture books, Tregebov has also edited numerous anthologies. Now a Professor Emerita at UBC, Rhea continues to live and write in Vancouver.
